I’m currently in production making  jersey skirts and tops for Bling! Spring/ Summer collection 2012. Inspired by the colours from a trip I took to the Amalfi Coast, I sourced some beautiful tencel jersey- a cellulose fibre made from plants- in neon yellow, seafoam green, coral pink, and dove grey, and the charcoal is made from bamboo. All vegan, and more sustainable than cotton and feels fresh and cool against the skin.

I reworked my asymmetrical skirt and top pattern, so I have a more diverse range of sizes, and the back doesn’t plunge beyond the bra line now.

I cut them into bundles and will start construction soon, but the next thing is to set up my screens for printing. Stay tuned for some action shots in The Print Studio to come.
